DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION: The mural is in the interior space of Poor Richard’s Restaurant and will occupy the entire center panel (72”h x 83.5”w) of a 3-panel screen and part of the two flanking panels that will be comprised of mural images integrated into textual messages about the ways the business is committed to environmental sustainability. Small painted touches to additional, smaller panels may carry the themes and imagery of the mural to other areas of the Restaurant. Artist will be able to execute work in their own studio as the panels will be mobile. The chosen artist may have the opportunity to display transportable curated artwork with a 3 month show, in the front area of the Restaurant, starting at the “reveal” date of the finished Mural Project.
THEME: Local botanical images. These may include both native species and garden vegetables, fruits and flowers that are typically grown in the Pikes Peak Region, and especially ingredients utilized in our food offerings—such as tomatoes, peppers, basil, etc…
