Miranda Lambert

When: Wed., Dec. 9 2009

Known for such comforting little ditties as "Gunpowder and Lead," "Kerosene" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," 25-year-old country star Miranda Lambert lands in Denver tonight, touring behind her new album Revolution — and more pleasantly titled songs like "Sin for a Sin" and "Time to Get a Gun." (Ain't she cute?) Catch the 18-plus show at 8 at the Grizzly Rose (5450 N. Valley Hwy., ticketmaster.com). Tickets are $23 in advance or $30 at the door. The only downer of the evening is likely to be a performance of "Love Song," a piece she co-wrote with boyfriend Blake Shelton. Goodness girl, not love, of all things. — Kirsten Akens
