Dear Mr. Fortson:

Driving on I-25 the other day I was stuck behind a red Saturn with a bumper sticker that read: I My Wife. When I got home I did some research and found that this is a slogan of your organization. I don't mean to split hairs since I'm happy wives are loved. Mine are too, all by other men. Hahaha. I'm not kidding.

It seems we're in agreement that life's simpler accomplishments are worth celebrating, be it through bumper stickers or unsolicited mass e-mails. I looked on your Web site to see if you had any other stickers of a similar bent, but I couldn't locate any.

Therefore, I'd like to suggest a few. I think they'll be popular with those seeking public affirmation for wife-loving:

I Wipe Down The Toilet Seat

I Take Out The Garbage Without Being Asked

I Share The Remote Control

I Pay Child Support On Time

I Do Not Curse Out Little League Umpires (even when they're BLIND!)

This is just a sampling of what I'm capable of. I think it's great that your organization allows its members to feel good about their unremarkable accomplishments. For some of us, it's all we have.

Let me know what you think of my ideas.

Sincerely,

Kenneth H. Cleaver Read the Response.
