Classroom desk or kitchen table?
Homeschooling escalated significantly during the "culture wars" of the 1990s. It's an educational approach with built-in advantages and disadvantages, and reliable results have been hard to find.

I'm not - versed enough in all fields to do it, and both my kids - went through the Colorado Springs school system as A - students, so I see no need for it. -  - Is the typical motivation for homeschooling more - educational, political or religious? Around here, I - think it's mostly political and religious.

    Would you homeschool your child? I'm not versed enough in all fields to do it, and both my kids went through the Colorado Springs school system as A students, so I see no need for it.

Homeschooled kids - tend to be a bit sheltered and nave, with low coping - skills in real-world situations. -  - Would you homeschool your child? No. As a - former teacher, I saw homeschooled kids unable to cope - in regular classrooms because they're so used to one- - on-one attention. Communication and teamwork skills - are essential in today's society, and homeschooled kids - don't have them as much.
