East Library Creative Writing Group

When: Mon., May 13, 6 p.m. 2013

Ever wanted to write? To put sights and sounds and emotions into words so that the world's bookwormish eyes hang on your stories like so many coats on hooks? Or maybe you're already a writer and have manuscripts stacked in a drawer to save them from criticism. Whichever you are, one fundamental step to becoming an author is having readers. So at 6 tonight, dust off those ambitious little manuscripts and bring them to the East Library Creative Writing Group (East Library, 5550 N. Union Blvd., ppld.org) monthly meeting for feedback. If you don't have a manuscript, mingle with like-minded writers and enjoy discussions on fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction. — Miguel Bustamante
