Different Kinds of Minds

When: Wed., March 13, 7 p.m. 2013

Temple Grandin's über busy. She's got a PBS documentary debuting April 15, and a new book, The Autistic Brain, releasing April 30 — amid her ongoing professorial duties at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and a packed speaking schedule across the country. If you want to catch her in person, tonight's the night. At 7, the animal welfare and autism advocate will be at CSU - Pueblo (2200 Bonforte Blvd., Pueblo, colostate-pueblo.edu) giving a free talk entitled "The Way I See It ... Different, Not Less." An apropos topic, because Grandin may struggle with autism herself, but she's in no way less for it. — Kirsten Akens
