If you are a pot smoker here in Colorado, I'm sorry to tell you that President Barack Obama just isn't that interested in you. Speaking to Barbara Walters, the president had this to say about Colorado and Washington's recent partial de-criminalization of marijuana:
"We've got bigger fish to fry. ... It would not make sense for us to see a top priority as going after recreational users in states that have determined that it's legal."
As this administration has been very hard on legal medical marijuana, it's a bit surprising that Obama's articulated stance on legal recreational marijuana appears so lax.
Regardless, it's some of the best fodder yet for those trying to read the tea leaves on what's going to happen with Amendment 64.
