On Oct. 4, at the Crowne Plaza Denver International Airport, U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn will be taking his rightful place among some of what he calls the "nation’s great political thinkers and leaders" at the CPAC Colorado conference.
The American Conservative Union, which has been throwing the famed Republican CPAC galas since the early ’70s, must see the value in Colorado, as the Denver event is "the second in a series of 2012 regional CPACs."
Lamborn is among the invited guest speakers, including conservative luminaries such as FOX News' Sean Hannity, radio talker Laura Ingram, and former vice presidential candidate and reality TV star Sarah Palin.
The line-up of speakers, however, has not been finalized.
Says Lamborn in a press release:
“It is a huge honor to share the stage with some of our nation’s great political thinkers and leaders. With the national spotlight once again on Colorado during this presidential election year, our state’s conservative voters have a unique opportunity to direct the national debate.”
Also invited is the likely Republican presidential ticket, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
