Add in an intermission performance by Mango fan Django — with former Philharmonic intern David Siegel "conducting" and playing violin — and what more could you ask for?
If you missed it, you can still get your Gypsy jazz fix by catching Mango fan Django at 5 p.m., Saturday (Bastille Day!) at La Baguette French Bakery-Cafe (4440 N. Chestnut St.).
Classical fans will have to be a bit more patient: The Philharmonic's next season begins in September.
