Is there any other issue that has so consumed our local grassroots Republicans more than last year's Senate Bill 200?
If so, I don't know about it.
On Saturday, March 17, starting at 10 a.m., at the Da Vinci Academy, 1335 Bridle Oaks Lane, the El Paso County Tea Party will be holding The Colorado Health Benefit Exchange — SB200 & Obamacare Town Hall.
As you can see from the flier below, the keynote speaker will be Dr. Jill Vecchio, a Denver-based radiologist "who has read the new Healthcare Law and has worked with State and Federal Legislators to oppose the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and institute market based real healthcare reforms. She is the President of the Colorado Chapter and the National Director of State Chapter Development and on the Physician Advisory Board for Docs 4 Patient Care."
Docs 4 Patient Care is an organization of "concerned physicians committed to the establishment of a health care system that preserves the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship, promotes quality of care, supports affordable access to all Americans, and protects patients' freedom of choice" and that urges patients and doctors alike to call their elected officials and to complain about the federal health care law.
