If you missed former Mexican mafia hitman Art Blajos at Star Academy on Saturday, he'll be speaking at Irving Middle School (1702 N. Murray Blvd.) at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Both appearances are part of the iLove Colorado Springs Campaign.
Art Blajos a former death row inmate at the notorious San Quentin Prison and the former hit-man for the Mexican Mafia will be sharing his life experiences via drama. His intentions and belief is to encourage our young people to avoid the destruction gang involvement brings. Mr. Blajos will also make a brief appearance at the Treasures Out Of Darkness car show.
Several community organizations have joined forces to present iLove Colorado Springs. This campaign specifically addresses the growing gang and violence problems now evident in Colorado Springs.
The central draw to this event was the Treasures Out Of Darkness car show on Saturday and the “Blood in Blood out” live drama about the life of Art Blajos.
