Today, Ross Auction ("Colorado's oldest auction since 1921") will be featuring "lots and lots" of America's oldest recording medium since the demise of wax cylinders.
Although the vinyl LP was largely abandoned with the arrival of compact discs (and, later, MP3s), it's still a popular recording medium for indie bands and a much-loved collectible for hardcore enthusiasts.
If you're one of them, you can get all the details at rossauction.com. Latest word from the auction house is that the records will be among the first things auctioned today — maybe around 12:30 or 12:45.
