Mommy, look at the mullet!

Attention, Dog the Bounty Hunter and other slaves to fashion: An organization has finally recognized your genius and decided to reward you for it.

Yes, mulleted men and women, the Pittsburgh Zoo recently gave discount entry fees to all those still sporting the wildest of all haircuts.

Short hair? Long hair? You long ago realized there was no reason to choose. And you've walked around looking like there's a shabby pelt on your head ever since. Long after visionaries like Michael Bolton threw in the towel, you stayed true to the style. Good for you.

But watch out, those zoo people — like so many others — have some ulterior motives. No, they apparently didn't plan to lock you and your brethren up like the hairy beasts you are, but they were offering the runner-up for best mullet a free haircut.
Blasphemy. Pure blasphemy.

Terrible and shallow comments and so disgusting using a person's wedding picture to criticize someone. Too bad the article missed the fact that Dog Chapman and crew have arrested the top 100 fugitives in the Springs, that the crime rate has dropped in the Springs since Dog Chapman has started working there more often. I commend Dog for helping to get people back to justice, for spreading the anti-drug stay in school message to the youth of today.

If that is not bad enough, this blog needs to research the difference between a Mohawk and a mullet. The very fact that we are discussing looks and how people dress in this day in age is so sad, and so grade 4.

Terrible writing

who cares what someones hair looks like? Dog Chapman is an amazing man doing great things for his community. Using someones wedding picture to make fun of someone is shameful.

Wow, you truly have found a new low. I guess you needed some hits to you blog and mention Duane "Dog" Chapman is the only way you could get it. I hope you enjoy the comments that i'm sure is supporters are about to send you. Dog has done some amazing things over the years, things that you can only aspire to achieve. Much love to Dog and crew; as for you GROW UP.

I think it's a sad world we live in when people start getting judged for their choice of hairstyle . I think it is great to stand out and be an individual...what a boring place it would be if we were all the is my hope as a parent that my children would not conform to be like everyone else :) besides, I think DOG Chapman's hair is pretty awesome ;)

Really .... nothing better to do than talk about someones hair what a shame, this world would be a better place If people would go out of there way to say something nice instead of something so rude and really why do they care what other people wear .. look like ... or the haircut they have .... I think its people who are so unhappy with themselves they seek out someone to make fun or to bully very childish and sad :( I love Dog and his family they are good people leave them alone.

It's pathetic that people still judge someone by their looks & not by their character. Duane Dog Chapman & his family are the most amazing people around. Dog makes our world a better place to live & who cares what he looks like. In his line of work if he was Mr GQ would you surrender? His look is more for his occupation then for your pleasure. Leave the family alone & stop being so jealous. Take a look in your own mirror

Long hair , short hair, NO hair ---who gives a crap what is on top of DOG the Bounty Hunter's head? !!! He is the WORLD'S GREATEST BOUNTY HUNTER and has captured fugitives that were on the FBI's MOST WANTED List and all the writer of this Blog can find to say about the man is that you dont like his hairstyle ? THAT IS LAME .. AS for using a picture that captured a very emotional day in his life to do it the is totally wrong !!!! The DAY that DOG was MARRIED his DAUGHTER DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT !!! and to use a picture from that day is wrong . It was a Bittersweet day for Dog and his family and you do not need to use personal photos to slam their father for his choice of style . instead of slamming celebrities for their choice of fashion and taking the easy way out why dont you do your job the right way and actually delve into what the new and latest
fashions are and compare them to the fashions of the 80s without attacking celebrities and making them the butt of your jokes.

I know you personally and for you to write dumb stuff like this, Is just like you, You havent wrote a good story yet. For the pic you used that is Wrong. P.S. Seen you wearing your dog shirt just the other day.

Seriously people stop judging others based on their looks, character, personality, etc! DOG and his Posse are the best and nicest people i have ever met and they don't judge anyone,so why should people judge them?? I don't get it!?I think that his wedding picture is beautiful and so are they in person! So people get a grip and stop and think before you act! That is what i have to say about it!

Honestly, There comes a point where if you have nothing to say you should just be quiet. I think we all know you hit that point when you posted such a pointless article. Someone looks a little different, quick lets point and laugh not exactly original is it? God forbid you should focus on all the good that they have contributed which I'm guessing is alot more good than your articles will ever do.

I have a son who proudly wears a mullet and a mohawk changing between them and hes off to play college football in a month..If wearing his hair in a fashion you don't accept then its wrong of you to judge and if hes happy with it, why should it matter to anyone else..As for Dog, we have met him and his family personally and his hair does not make him the person he is today...His past does and he is amazing and a role model for everyone who thinks bad people can't do something good..You obviously have no clue what you are even writting..Maybe a new career is what you should be looking for.

Why havent people got anything better to do than talk about other peoples hair cuts? Its a beautiful wedding picture. And they are a great family that have done some amazing work, and changed and influenced many peoples lives. Find something else to write about!!!

You are setting a very bad example in writing and in life by judging people on appearance. Focus on the positive in people or don't bother. There is an immense amount of good that man and his family have done. Nuff said.

I wouldn't stoop to your level & insult you. Next time
you write a blog about Dog The Bounty Hunter, you should write about
Congradulating him for having the #1 spot on A&E or THANK
him, Beth, Lyssa, Duane Lee, & Leland for spending time away from
their families to make our families safe in our communites. Wasn't it Dog that got
a RAPIST put behind bars? They do some much work in Colorado & really put a dent in crime over there & it's sad to hear people from Colorado blasting them. Isn't it Dog & family that get drug addicts
the help they need? I hope next time you can write something positive about someone
& pray in time you will mature & think about the things that really matter in life.
KayteeDreamer thinks the Chapmans ROCK!!!!!! ;) God Bless

This article is so stupid. Its personality and having a heart that makes a person who they are not what their hairstyle is. Dog Chapman is a great and respectable man. His family and him risk their lives everyday to make the streets safer for everyone. SO LEAVE THEM ALONE!

I want to speak for my Bf who is still adjusting from comming home from jail. He got to watch Dog the Bounty Hunter in jail and he began to feel as if Dog was speaking to him. When he went to jail he left me with a 4yr and twins 2yr olds and then i was 4months pregnat when he left. We would watch Dog together he from jail and me from home. I was at home feeling like Beth was talking to me. I cant begin to say how since the 3rd when he came home how our relationship took a turn. We are fans for life. The show and Dog and Beth had such an impact on our life. When i was admited to the hospital June 24th for blood pressure issues and on June 26th I welcomed Kaite Elizabeth. named after Dogs daughter Barbra Kaite who died before thier wedding and Elizabeth after Beth. She was 4.4 lbs and then came my handsome boy Macen Canell or as hes known Mace Can at 4 lbs. I cant begin to express how happy I am that my bf found and listen to Dog and how Glad I am that I began to allow myself to listen to Beth... Thank you will never be enough

Bashing other people based on hair style is considered journalism??? Really?!?!?!? Quite pathetic. Reminds me of articles I would see in a high school newspaper. Considering everything else that is going on around in the world around us, its quite sad we have to focus negatively on someone's choice of hairstyle and fashion. Each to their own, what works for them might not work others in choice of fashion. Lets look past outward appearances and focus on what Dog (your focus in this article) and family have done for the good of society by capturing fugitives and trying to help those who have lost their way in life.

Ms. Stanley,
It must have been a really slow day at the Independant for you and your editor must have been hounding you to meet the deadline for an empty spot. Word to editor: should have left the spot empty.
I'm certain President Obama's girls would have contributed something more entertaining than this piece of verbal diarrhea. As most reporters are covered under the "First Amendment"-Freedom of Speech there are a few ethical rules you should familiarize yourself with before putting both your sneakers in your oral cavity.

The term race refers to the concept of dividing people into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of characteristics and beliefs about common ancestry. The most widely used human racial categories are based on visible traits (especially skin color, facial features and hair texture), and self-identification.
"Harassment" may be related to any of the discriminatory grounds of Human Rights. Such behaviour may be verbal, physical, deliberate, unsolicited or unwelcome; it may be one incident or a series of incidents. While the following is not an exhaustive list, harassment may include:

Unwelcome remarks, jokes, innuendos or taunting about a person’s body, attire, age, marital status, ethnic or national origin, religion, etc.

And should curiosity beget some readers, click on the link below and compare with the picture of Mr. Duane "Dog" Chapman above and tell me where the difference lies in hair styles.
Besides missy...I would rather have a 5'8, Christian with a blonde, wavy mullet and God in his pocket, out protecting our children, (When God sends you angels, you let them work) than to waste my valuable time reading this article a colleague sent along to me. By the way sistah, have you ever watched the show? I didn't think so. There are some valuable life lessons to be learned here.
As a graduate of 2002, you have a loooonnnng way to go before "Pulitzer" can even find you on Google.…

Boy, tough crowd on this one huh Adrian?
I think in honor of this article, which I think is one of your best, you should in fact roll out the femullet for the month of July.
We all love you and the fact you write with disregard for race, color, creed, or hairstyle!

It might help if you inform yourself before you open your hole.
Dog is descended from Native American's. His mother was Chiricahua Apache.
The style of his hair is that of Native tribes from which he is descended.
Let me ask you this: Would you dis an African American for wearing an Afro?
Your words here just betray your ignorance and intolerance. Go join the Klan and
leave the rest of us in peace.
