Skiing schedule revised; Vonn goes in downhill Wednesday

Olympic organizers and international ski federation officials have just announced an updated schedule for events at Whistler. The men's super-combined, which had been postponed earlier and again Tuesday, now has been put off until Sunday.

That allows the women, led by Lindsey Vonn of Vail, to contest their downhill on Wednesday and super-combined on Thursday.

Here's the updated schedule, with all times Pacific:

Wed. Feb. 17
11:00 a.m. - Women's downhill

Thu. Feb. 18
9:30 a.m. - Women's super combined downhill
12:30 p.m. - Women's super combined slalom

Fri. Feb. 19
11:30 a.m. - Men's super G

Sat. Feb. 20
10:00 a.m. - Women's super G

Sun. Feb. 21
9:30 a.m. - Men's super combined downhill
12:30 p.m. - Men's super combined slalom

Mon. Feb. 22
TBD

Tue. Feb. 23
9:30 a.m. - Men's giant slalom - 1st run
1:30 p.m. - Men's giant slalom - 2nd run
