And the Grammy DOESN’T go to…

… music writer Alan Sculley, who made predictions in last week’s issue for nine top Grammy categories — and turned out to be right on three of them.

Come to think of it, the three awards that Alan actually got right weren’t exactly rocket science: Each went to either Taylor Swift or Beyonce Knowles, who took home 10 awards between them.

So we’re talking about, what, a 33 percent success rate? Of course, each category does have five nominees, so it’s not like the odds were even. (There’s probably even some mathematic formula that would take that into account, but it would still be small consolation.)
