The Republicans do! The Republicans do!
In the wake of Wednesday's U.S. Supreme Court ruling that threw out restrictions on corporate involvement in political races, Colorado Republicans are squealing for state bans to be lifted. (Finally, politicians can cash in on all favors they've done for the oil and pharmaceutical businesses).
In fact, the Colorado Republican Party plans to sue in the next few days, with the hope of overturning the will of Colorado voters, who in 2002 passed a law banning direct corporate or union expenditures in state races. They also want to chuck limits on campaign donations.
