Today brought bad news for those of us who’ve come to take for granted semi-daily coverage of local Santa appearances and the latest signed press releases from professional citizen journalist Seiko Tran. Fresh Ink, the Gazette’s free sister paper, has reduced its publishing schedule...
Since its inception last May, this 12-page juggernaut has delivered the goods without fail each Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday — with the exception of last week’s well-deserved holiday hiatus.
So imagine our excitement this morning to discover a brand new Tuesday edition bearing the fresh cover story headline: “Hitting keys, saying cheese!” And imagine our subsequent dismay to read the following front page announcement: “Fresh Ink now delivered Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.”
Our sole consolation: We’re still getting our thrice-daily emails from Seiko Marketing.
