This geyser in Manitou Springs is insane

Rain continues to pound the region, including Manitou Springs. Currently, the storm's strength seems to be veering between bad and good over the flood-weary small town — while the Colorado Springs Fire Department is on flood watch on the west side, and just closed Garden of the Gods Park — which has made for some fairly shocking happenings, like the bubbling mass of black water shown in the below video.

This is really one of the most awful sights I have ever seen.

It is also something of an epic flood...caused by the DEA burning a weed plot up in the forest setting off last summer's fire.

This is why we don't have a cause for the Waldo Canyon Fire...because the DEA could be sued for all the flood damage going on now and for 350 that needed to rebuild.

And the Mayor knows it! And so do all the people who have resigned to get the heck out of the way of this mess.
